In January we tried a couple times with Emma on the potty - but had no luck. We tried again this past weekend and she still wouldn't do anything. We sat there for 30 minutes with no action. So my genius idea was to let her walk around without a diaper for a while and when she starts to go, we'll put her on the potty. A little messy, but worth it if it works. Well... it didn't quite go like that. As soon as I stood her up, she ran to the bottom of the stairs and started to pee. I didn't catch it quick enough, and by the time I got her on the potty - she was done. HUGE mess.
She knows what potty is, where to go when she needs it, but no clue as to when she needs it.
Any advice would be appreciated at this point.
